Career Management Advice to Start Your Year Off Right

“What career?” you ask. If that’s you, this article really is for you. And for those of you already in tune with Step 1 of “the mindset of realizing you are in a career,” there is more advice following that step to help keep you on track with your administrative professional career this year and beyond.

Step 1. Get your mindset in order: Realize you’re indeed in a career. Once you accept you’re in a chosen profession and career (that of administrative professional), you can start managing your career, including your career path. That advice may sound simplistic but not all administrative professionals believe they are doing worthy work or holding more than a job that’s filling their time until their “real career” shows itself or the clock strikes quitting hour.
